Q: Do you offer dance classes?

A:  Dance Umbrella is not a school nor is it a studio, and does not run dance classes. As part of the festival, we often have some workshops with festival artists, but every year is different. Please check Learning and Participation for current opportunities.

Q: Do you offer internships and work placements?  

A:  Dance Umbrella offers festival internships during the autumn. We normally recruit for these internships during the summer. On occasion, other work placement opportunities may be available outside of the festival period.  All internships and work placements are listed in Get Involved.  

Q: Do you have any vacancies?

A:  Please see Job Vacancies for current job opportunities.

Q:  Where is the office located?

A:  1 Brewery Square, London SE1 2LF.
Closest tube stations: Tower Hill (10 mins) or London Bridge (12 mins).

Q:  Who is on your Board?

A:  Please see Dance Umbrella Board for details.

Q:  What are the dates of the festival?

A:  The festival takes place each year around October. The programme is announced in June. 

Q:  Where can I find out about current dance performances?

A: You can follow us on Twitter as the team often tweets about performances which are on. Time Out and londondance.com also provide current listings of dance performances in London. 

Q:  What resources are available for journalists?  

A:  Press releases, images and contact information can be found in Press.

Q:  Can I photograph or film any of the performances?

A:  It is not possible to photograph or film any of the performances without prior permission, unless otherwise stated.

Q: How can I support Dance Umbrella and make a donation?  

A:  There are a range of opportunities available to support Dance Umbrella, from becoming a Friend for as little as £10 per month, to joining our Artistic Circle or becoming a Corporate Supporter.

Q:  Where can I get tickets from?

A:  Tickets are available from the Dance Umbrella Ticket Line 0844 412 4312 or by clicking the 'Book tickets' button on the webpage of the event you are interested in.

They are also available in person at Sadler’s Wells from Mon to Sat, 10am – 8pm. Tickets are also available from the venue. See Venues & Booking for more details.
